Chords Page
(under construction - incomplete)

In a similar layout to the songs page on this site, there follows tables of the chords for the crImson connecTIon songs.

The chords for each song are written out in order, but not shown synchronised to any words, so that you have to use your common sense.  You will see that some 'sevenths' have been noted as being optional (ie put in brackets) - other times they are missed out altogether, but can still be put in (this should be obvious).  Also some quick, or less obvious, chord changes have been put in brackets - for example in 'Rejoice' there is (Bbmaj7-Bb6) which is just barring the second fret (4 strings) and adding the little finger on the 6th fret then, for the Bb6, letting go of the little finger. It should be obvious from the song where things like this happen.  Sometimes a chord is repeated on the same line when a new 'phrase' starts - and sometimes it isn't (I have not been entirely consistent, so common sense is needed).  Also, I have not used superscript and subscript, so that chords like 'A47' look awkward - it would have looked neater with superscript and subscript (eg A47 or A47).

The boxes below will explain how you can hear the songs while looking at the chords.  Note that the chords show the keys that we played the songs in. Because of tape speeds, and the fact that we may have tuned the guitars higher or lower on occasions, they may sound higher or lower in the MP3 files. Obviously you can change the keys to make the chords easier.  There may also be one or two mistakes in the chords here, so please let me know if you think things sound 'wrong'.  It will help me out.

Left click a DOWNLOAD button, when it appears, to play the file on your chosen player.  If you want to save the file, right-click the button, and choose "Save Target As ...." or "Save Link As....", depending on your browser.  Two versions of each song are offered here: the low quality (highly compressed file) will download more quickly, whilst the higher quality file will be larger and take longer to download.
